About my art
I like to splatter paint and turn it into flower art. I also enjoy doing watercolors and experimenting with other types mediums. A few years ago I was playing with my acrylic paints and started splattering them. Then I added dabs of paint creating the impression of wild flowers growing in a field. I loved the spontaneity of it and how each painting turned out different. I posted my art with some step by step tutorials and found other people were drawn to this type of art. My splattered paint flower art posts continue to be my most popular.

In August 2020 I started reading online to my grandchildren, who live hundreds of miles away. A few years and over a thousand books later we are still reading together on FaceTime. I created readaloudgrandma.com to help other grandparents that want to have a rewarding experience reading aloud to children they love!
